The Indigenous Culture

From the Chairperson – North West Cape Exmouth Aboriginal Corporation (NWEAC)

23.02.2008
8 Pellew Street
Exmouth WA 607

After consultation over many years, it is with pleasure that the custodian for the area, Mr Dale and his son, John Dale recognise and support the project Wilderness Island.

The efforts of Jamie Alston (Wirda young fella or boy) have been accepted and endorsed.

He is now included with activities conducted and training offered by the NWEAC.  The future partnership is a continuing activity to our association.

Over 104 years his family have had an association with the indigenous aboriginal people of the area and surrounding region.

The continuing relationship that has developed since the inception of Wilderness Island, we endorse and approve.

23.02.2008 Custodian: Mr Syd Dale (Maja, Boss)

23.02.2008 Custodian son: Mr John Dale

One of the best fishing trips I’ve ever been on: a truly unique experience with the best flats fishing in Australia…I’ll be back.

Thanks for such a great experience. This was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had! But it has ruined my enjoyment of fishing in Perth forever… I’ll be back.
